Raising Chicks On A Soured Milk Diet

Our new flock of twenty-five laying chicks (including an all white Leghorn rooster) arrived last week. This coming spring we are striving for higher egg production so we ordered mostly Black Star females with a few Red Stars, Leghorns and Buff Orphingtons added to the mix. We have been looking into raising the chicks on a soured milk diet which means feeding the chicks raw milk that has clabbered or soured, meaning fermented.  Clabbering raw milk is easy.  We just fill a quart jar or two with some of the fresh milk from the mornings milking (either goat or cow will do), screw on a lid and leave on the window sill for a couple of days until the curds separate from the whey.

Raw milk is loaded with enzymes and probiotics.  When raw milk starts to sour, it simply means that beneficial bacteria called probiotics have started to use up all the lactose or milk sugar which casues the milk to no longer taste sweet.  Soured raw milk has a higher level of probiotics which have initiated the fermentation or clabbering of the milk.  (By the way, this only works with raw milk.  When store bought pasteurized milk goes bad it becomes a huge food borne illness risk to consume it and should be thrown out.)

All these probiotics can be used as a prophylactic against disease and illness, boosting the immune system and growing stronger, healthier birds.  We are looking forward to an abundance of eggs in the spring.

p.s. It is still an amazing thing to think of how much the family cow adds to the homestead, everyone on the farm benefits from the by products!

A Day At The Green Festival

Last weekend we spent our Sunday at the Albany Arts and Green Festival.  Blessed with beautiful weather and a large crowd, we sold almost all our local organic honey, as well as many of the products from our Handcrafted Herbalim CSA.

There was a diverse grouping of  booths at the festival; everything from solar/renewable energy to The Sierra club to The Alameda County Beekeepers Association.  We spent some time promoting our classes, discussing our farm with interesting people, and benefiting from all the giveaways (fruit trees, environmental books, compost and organic vegi starts).

Fire Cider, Herbal Body Cream, Gardeners Salve,
Eucalyptus Lavender Salt scrub for sale

Both our honey and the model Warre hive we set up drew plenty of attention.  It was a blast talking about bees with other beekeepers and hearing about many of the local apiaries in the area. The best part of the festival was networking with so many interesting, like minded people. Of course taking home peach, apricot, and cherry trees, comfrey, globe artichokes, mugwort, and a few more starts for the garden was pretty great too.  Hurrah for the Green Festival!

How to make a straw bale garden bed Our 1st Lucerne alfalfa hay bale bed

Have wanted to make up some straw/hay bale garden beds for a while now & am happy I finely have..

The second bed is in the process of being planted & have also started a small no dig straw/hay bed for some potatoes to go into.. I love the idea of being able to grow in the straw as it slowly turns into compost & humus that can be added to other beds once it finishes breaking down...

A wander through our Subtropical Veggie Patch The early Winter edition 2015

Hi folks.
Had a few people ask how things are going in the veggie patch & finally managed to do a "quick" clip on the hoop house section of our veggie patch. Funnily enough our Winter veggie patch here in the Subtropics looks very similar to many friends that are growing in North America, the UK & Europe at the moment.

Am looking forward to harvesting the first of our winter veg like cauliflower & broccoli. Still have a few summer crops that need to be harvested like the yacon, turmeric & ginger as they take a bit longer to mature in our climate.  Hope to post some harvest clips on them soon.
Hope everyone else is having a great season,
Rob.?

Catch up Time Aquaponics Chooks a wander through the veggie patch

Has been a while since I ventured over here to blog land so thought I would do a bit of a catch up post..Think we shall start with he Fish..

Aquaponics...
I did a "What is Aquaponics" style clip a few weeks ago to help a friend explain aquaponics to her family members.. Not a real in depth one but it will gives a rough idea on how the system works including the relationship between the fish, bacteria & plants.. It also shows a bit of the growth in the system if your interested on how its looking at the moment..

Not much has happened with the aquaponics of late which is a good thing on one hand but frustrating on the other... The fish are all well & happy (so they tell me) with the growth in the beds travelling along fine.. The celery is still being picked every couple of days & the strawberries have been fruiting well..
Harvested our first aquaponic pepino last weekend which was great.. There are a load on there with a few easily 50% larger than the fruit above :D
Really hoping to get the grow beds sorted out into their new positions by the start of spring.. First a wicking bed needs to be pulled down & the ground levelled to make room for them.. The new configuration should free up some space to try out a few new ways to grow plants with the system..

Hanging with the Chooks...
The chooks are at the top of their game at the moment.. Greedy decided to moult at the start of winter, which was a bit of a concern to us, but grew back back a fine set of feathers just in time for the few cool nights we have had this winter.. Have started to make up 2-3 lots of sprouted wheat a week for the girls.. I think they now recognise the sprouting jar as there is much flapping & excitement when we go wandering down to the pen with it.. Have also had a go at growing them some wheat sprouts as a fodder crop in the aquaponics but have shelved that idea for a little while :)

Hope to make a start on the modified feeder & shall do a bit of a report on that once it is done for those interested..

Wandering the patch...
Have got stuck into a few jobs around the place of late getting the patch ready for the warm season crops.. There are some tomato, eggplant & capsicum seedlings that have just started to germinate which is a great sight to see..

Some water chestnuts have also made it into some small 100mm pots to give them a bit of a head start before going into the sedge bathtub bed that will be set up near the aquaponics..

The yacon are starting to throw up shoots  & I think we will have more than enough for our purposes this year.. Have quite a few earmarked for other people & have already given a fair few away..

Made a decent start in setting up the new front yard garden beds as well.. There are now 4 IBC wicking beds along the front retaining wall with another 4 going in over the coming weeks.. The first 2 beds have the asparagus in them with some heirloom corn planed for at least one of the other beds..  Hope to do a post on them by themselves once they are in & growing :)

Garden walk around clips..
Have a couple of clips on whats happening in the patch at the moment... The first is of the front yard last week before the new beds went in..

The pigeon pea still havent been harvested but when they have I shall post about our attempt at making humus with them...Should be interesting methinks..

The second clip is of the backyard patch with a bit of a quick look at the 2 new pineapple flowers that have just started to form :)

Hope to make a proper start to the insect house extension soon as well (looks at list of jobbies).. After last seasons success with keeping the fruit fly out I think we might finally get a chance at growing some decent tomatoes & capsicums :)

------------
Well that brings us roughly up to date... Shall post some project updates over the next few days to bring the blog up to speed all proper like ;)
Hope all are well & happy out there & have been having fun in the garden..
Cheers,
Rob..

Music on a Monday Disturbing the Sounds of Silence

Since Im not saying much at the moment, heres a little musical interlude for a Monday.

Some songs are legendary.  Some songs are so legendary that they defy being re-recorded or copied by other musicians. They Stand Alone, on a pedestal.

For me, one of those untouchable songs was always "The Sounds of Silence", By Simon  & Garfunkel.   Over the past few decades any attempt to try and recreate the magic has seen failure after failure.  Until a few months ago, I would have denied that anyone could release any version worth its weight in salt.

...... Then I heard this rendition, by the group Disturbed:

I havent really listened to any of Disturbeds music in a few years, and had all but forgotten them.  But this song made me pay attention again.  So we got the whole album:  Immortalized.  And WOW.

I have two Songs from this disc that Id like to share.  The lyrics couldnt be more powerful than at this very moment.  Ive included the versions with the lyrics and posted the lyrics for all three below.

....Some times the greatest messages dont come with sweeping strings and fluttery words.  Sometimes they come with driving power and an edge that cuts like a chisel through concrete.

Disturbed:  The Light

... and a bit on the "Heavier" side, lol

Disturbed: Immortalized

"The Sound Of Silence"
(originally by Simon & Garfunkel)

Hello darkness, my old friend
Ive come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp

When my eyes were stabbed
By the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening

People writing songs
That voices never share
And no one dare
Disturb the sound of silence

"Fools" said I, "you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
And the words that it was forming

And the sign said
"The words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls"
And whispered in the sound of silence

"The Light"

Like an unsung melody
The truth is waiting there for you to find it
Its not a blight, but a remedy,
A clear reminder of how it began
Deep inside your memory
Turned away as you struggled to find it
You heard the call as you walked away
A voice of calm from within the silence
And for what seemed an eternity
You wait and hoping it would call out again
You heard the shadow beckoning
Then your fears seemed to keep you blinded
You held your guard as you walked away

When you think all is forsaken,
Listen to me now
You need never feel broken again
Sometimes darkness can show you the light

An unforgivable tragedy
The answer isnt where you think youd find it
Prepare yourself for the reckoning
For when your world seems to crumble again
Dont be afraid, dont turn away
Youre the one who can redefine it
Dont let hope become a memory
Let the shadow permeate your mind and
Reveal the thoughts that were tucked away
So that the door can be opened again
Within your darkest memories
Lies the answer if you dare to find it
Dont let hope become a memory

When you think all is forsaken,
Listen to me now
You need never feel broken again
Sometimes darkness can show you the light

Sickening, weakening
Dont let another somber pariah consume your soul
You need strengthening, toughening
It takes an inner dark to rekindle the fire burning in you
Ignite the fire within you

When you think all is forsaken,
Listen to me now
You need never feel broken again
Sometimes darkness can show you the light

Dont ignore, listen to me now
You need never feel broken again
Sometimes darkness
Can show you the light

"Immortalized"

This is wartime, this is our time
We wont be denied
Feed the fire that is raging inside
This is go time, this is showtime
We will fight ‘til their wills are broken
This is game time, an insane time
Let the madness fly
Show them strength that just can’t be defied
Find the power to devour
Let the beast inside now be woken

In this world only the strong will survive
Hear the roar and you will know you’re alive
Feel the energy build in your soul ‘cause it’s time

Oh, in the calm before the storm
Another legend will be born
Another battle will be won
We will rise
Oh, so heed the call of confrontation
Today we feed on domination
Secure a legacy that will never die
Be immortalized

Raw emotion, pure devotion
They will testify
And our memory will endure for all time
Never hiding, no dividing
Let them witness us move as one now
Show no mercy, let the world see
Were invincible
Show them nothing is beyond our control
Take it higher, our desire
Will determine what we’ve become now

Are you ready for the test of your life?
See the fear bleeding right through their eyes
Feel the energy build in your soul ‘cause it’s time

Oh, in the calm before the storm
Another legend will be born
Another battle will be won
We will rise
Oh, so heed the call of confrontation
Today we feed on domination
Secure a legacy that will never die
Be immortalized

Feel it, take no prisoners now
Take it, there it is standing in front of us
Hear it, our deliverance now
Own it, give them all an image of us that will last for all time

Oh, in the calm before the storm
Another legend will be born
Another battle will be won
We will rise
Oh, so heed the call of confrontation
Today we feed on domination
Secure a legacy that will never die
Be immortalized

Not everything from Hollywood is a Fairy Tale

I was just re-watching "The Winter Soldier" last night.....

We like to blame Hollywood for spreading disinformation and propaganda, but sometimes, the "adventure story" shows you pieces of the puzzle even though most people think  it is yet another fanciful flight of fiction....

Operation Paperclip IS FACT.

Sometimes that which pretends to be "fiction", is actually a commentary of current events......

.... Does any of this sound familiar?

Feeding Chickens Black Soldier fly Larvae a new feeder

Have been looking at ways to boost the nutrition of the chooks at late & have come up with a few ideas like the Black soldier larvae farms... As you can see from the clip below they are a hit with the girls..

Another way is by increasing their greens intake.. At the moment they are getting grass clippings, grass from the neighbours yard & leafy greens from the patch.. Think its time they grow their own
; )»
Living Green Chicken feeder..

Have been wanting to make one of these feeders up since a friend told me about them..
The concept is fairly basic, plant some chook fodder seeds under a chook proof cage so the greens can grow through for the chooks to feed on them without scratching them up..

So far I have made up the cage & installed it into the chook pen..
It is hinged so the mesh can be lifted easily & the soil worked or left to the chooks to scratch out between crops..

A hanging pot hook will be used to keep it from turning it into a chook trap : )»
I have some wheat grain soaking over night so it can be sown out in the morning... Just thought it might give the seed a bit of a head start germinating..
A clip will be made once we have a bit of growth & the chooks are feeding from it..

Aquaponic system Maintenance Dealing with a nitrite spike

Have had a bit of fun trying to get some fluctuating nitrite levels in the system under control over the past few weeks but think I have it sorted now.. Made up a clip explaining how I think it happened & the steps taken to keep the fish safe..

Will be keeping what happened with this system in mind as I start to plan for the new tanks & beds that will be going onto the system.. Have already thought about altering the way the filter is set up to try & remove as much solids as I can before they make it to the grow beds..
I found both the folks on the Backyard Aquaponics Forum & Paul from Earthan group very helpful with the advice that gave .. Pauls site also has a great salt treatment calculator that might come in handy to some..

Thought I would post a bit of a look at how we managed to clean out the grow bed that was loaded with fish solids.. I think this is part of the reason there was a nitrite spike in the system in the first place..

Held off posting on the bed cleaning just so I could see the levels drop & stay stable for a week or 2.. I think this shows that the cleaning was successful in reducing the solids that caused the nutrient "spike"..
Making the air spear was really easy & came in handy cleaning out the beds..

Thanks to Paul from Earthan group again for giving me the heads up on the design of the DIY spear..

Aquaponic Q A session With Paul Van from Earthan Group

Last Saturday we were lucky enough to have Mr Paul Van Der Werf from the Earthan Group hold an aquaponic webinar/Q&A session from our backyard..

It involved people from as far away as Saudi Arabia & Canada asking question on all things related to backyard aquaponics & aquaculture.. After the webinar was over it was time for us locals to pick Pauls grey bits & chat about all things fish/plant related.. Was a great day, met some nice folks & picked up a few useful tips that will definitely help me out with our systems..

Pauls "go-to guy", Sockaponic ;)

Would like to thank Paul once more for taking time out to hold this session for us local enthusiasts & for all the assistance he has given myself.. Thanks too for not cringing at the silly questions I have tossed your way ;)
Would like to wish him & his family all the best on their move to the United Arab Emirates where Paul is in the process of building a 4400m2 integrated aquaculture pilot farm in the desert..
You can find Paul posting articles on his Earthan Group website where he also offers up loads of useful information/DIY ideas for us backyard enthusiasts.. He also posts regular updates on the progress of the large commercial aquaponics pilot farm on the Earthan Group Face Book page..

Cheers folks,
Rob..

Aquaponic update Think we have a change of plans

Picked up a commercial aquaponic system last week & now need to work out how to fit it into the yard :/ Am fairly sure that our existing system will be off to my parents & then we can get into setting up the new system here..

Am really looking forward to planing & building this system.. Am hoping to still include some Dutch buckets & DWC beds too :)

Decided to harvest the sweet potato from the aquaponics this week.. Also had a bit of a surprise when I was following the vine
that had grown over the side of the system :)

Cheers all & have a great one..

Getting more from your broccoli a tasty brassica salad

Harvesting broccoli to get more from your plants..
Broccoli would have to be one of my favourite plants to grow.. It starts off with a nice tidy little head of green goodness only to go onto providing you with countless meals of side shoots for months to come.. We were concerned that we didnt plant enough broccoli for the season but we have started to be flooded with side shoots from a few of the plants..

We now have the second crop starting to produce as well so I think we will be sorted for broccoli until the start of Summer now at this rate :) Not sure what we will be doing with the punnet of seedlings I have to plant out yet..

 Brassica salad...

We have been making up brassica salads for quite a while now & they have become a side dish here that is loved by all.. Thought I would post the recipe here even though a similar version has been posted elsewhere before.. It is one of those salads that gets whatever is growing out the back tossed into it.. The only ring-in veggie for this one was the capsicum/bell pepper, the rest came from the garden or aquaponics..

Broccoli & Cauliflower Salad..
1 Small head of broccoli .
1 Small head of cauliflower.
Remove the florets from the broccoli & cauliflower then chop into smaller 10¢/Nickel coin size pieces necessary.. Dice the stem of the cauliflower & broccoli finely.. I cheat & use the food processor ; )»

½ large red capsicum/bell pepper, diced finely.
3 stalks of celery, sliced thinly.
Large handful of cherry tomatoes, whole or sliced in ½.
Handful of parsley, chopped finely.
½ doz onion leaves, sliced thinly.
1/8th cup pine nuts lightly toasted.. We also like to use macadamia nuts as well.
Hand full of brassica flowers. Mustard greens flowers give the salad a nice little kick if you have them.

Dressing…
½cup yoghurt.
¼cup Mayonnaise.
1 heaped tsp of Dijon Mustard.
1 heaped tsp of honey.

Salt & pepper to taste.

Mix all dressing ingredients together & add salt & Pepper to taste..
     Salad…
Add all the salad ingredients except for the flowers & mix well..
Add the dressing & mix again..
Serve up & use flowers as garnish..
It is a great salad & can be made with almost any salad veggie you have on hand..
The left overs from this dish were supposed to be lunch today but decided that they would be better used as a side for tonight meal.. Will just be adding a few extra broccoli side shoots to boost it out a bit..
Hope you enjoy it if you give it a whirl..

Off to a flying start

Ready, set,     GO!!!
Had a great weekend in the patch with a few jobbies being knocked over...
Took out the 2 "Washing Machine" Wicking beds from the garden to make room for a few chairs & a small table.. Is nice to be able to sit in the patch with B? away from the spawn for a chat over a coffee on the weekend.. Well, thats the dream anyway.. I like to dream.. **nods**

Sick Fish & Aquaponics...
On Saturday morning the goldfish were moved  into a small "hospital tank"  then treated with a commercial anti fungal treatment...  1/3 of the water in the system was also replaced to counter the growing Ammonia levels as I didnt want to loose any Yabbies... On Sunday morning I hopped onto the BYAP Forum  & it was suggested that we salt to 10ppt for 1 hour then do a 50% water change to reduce it to a 5ppt concentration... Thanks Freoboy & all.. The fish picked up overnight & now only have a few spots of "growth" on them... Will do another 10ppt treatment today for an hour & see how they look again tomorrow... Not to keen on using the anti fungal treatment after reading the warning on the back about it containing carcinogens...
Update shots... Left is from the 19th of July & the Right is from 10th of  August... As you can see there is a bit of growth & will continue to get better from here with Nitrates now being present in the system...The Nitrites are still fairly high but they should settle soon as they are  converted into Nitrates..
Todays readings are pH-below 8.2, Ammonia-.25, Nitrites-5+ & Nitrates are 80-160.. Added some Broccoli seed yesterday as it seems to be a plant we just cant grow enough of...
Yabby Bum Left & Nippers, Right. They appear to be happy in there by themselves so all is good...

 Barrels of fun...
Made up 3 new Wicking Barrels on the weekend, 2 for the Mary Washington Asparagus, Left & 1 for the Jerusalem Artichokes, Right... 2 Asparagus crowns went into each Barrel while the Artichoke corms are still in the fridge for 2 more weeks...

Spuds...
Planted out the Green harvest Potato bags just over a week ago with the Dutch cream Seed Potatoes that were purchased with them.. Decided to plant out another 2 of the black bags on Saturday with some more.. We used one of the removed Washing machine beds & a ½ Barrel for some Kipfler Potatoes..The Desiree up the side of the house are looking rather good as are the 2 bags behind the Tomato Trellis...

Spice Wicking bed...
Started to put this together on Friday afternoon & finished it off on Monday... Was a straight forward build & means that I can now get stuck into the Aquaponic set up during the afternoons this week.. This bed acts as a retaining wall for the gravel bedding... Will be letting the Spice bed settle down for a few weeks before planting out...

Compost...
Made up what I think will be a few great blends... The first lot was made on Saturday... It has Horse manure, blood n bone, Mineral dust, & water from the Aquaponic set up... It was steaming when I used it in the soil blend for the Spice bed on Monday so I think it will cook down nicely thanks to the AP water & all the goodies in it... 2 bin loads were made up yesterday with a blend containing 2 shovel loads of Mushroom compost thrown in to see how it goes...

Happy harvesting...
**Does HUGE Happy Dance**
We got our first Capsicums off that didnt contain Grubs from a couple of feral plants that live in the Lime bed.. Can only put it down to the cooler weather... Will be making up some bags to cover the next crops of Capsicum with some bags that we will make up from an old Mozzie net the kids had over their cots.. That should keep the little buggers out this Spring & Summer.. Might have to make some for the Tomatoes as well for when the Turpentine Mangoes fruit.. A lot of people let them drop & rot which causes an explosion in the fruit fly numbers.. The pic also shows some of the first Amish Past Tomatoes we have harvested as well as some Caped Gooseberries & assorted Chillies..
We have also been getting some rather sweet Nantes & Dragon Carrots... Looking at pulling them all from the Bath tub bed soon & freezing them for use later as the I have plans for the Bath... The Mangles (Right) have been used in a few stews.. We are looking at freezing the rest of the large Kohlrabi for stews & casseroles.. The Broccoli is still producing but fear we have lost the climbing Beans due to my negligence & a rust..

Have a great one all....

Front Yard Veggie Patch Feeding the wicking beds a small harvest

Its mid Winter here in the patch so last weekend I knocked over a few jobs that needed doing before the weather starts to warm up.
The asparagus plants got a good trim & the beds were feed some home made compost & aged horse manure. Also planted out a few extra broccoli to see if we can squeeze in another crop before summer.

This weekend it will be a few beds out the back that get the same treatment. Also have some ginger & turmeric to harvest so am looking forward to that.
Cheers all.

Was this a Nuclear Explosion or an exploding Nuclear Power Plant

Further to my report last night about the massive explosion in Tianjin China, reports are now flooding in asking the same question:  Was this nuclear?

http://removingtheshackles.blogspot.com/2015/08/breaking-news-massive-explosion-in.html

New Video footage in the South China Post News show other views of the explosion from different vantage points.  But the most telling was a picture posted on social media that made me go searching for more information about Tianjin City this morning.  The picture was of a Nuclear power plant In Tianjin.... a very large nuclear power plant:

Steam rises from cooling towers at the Junliangcheng power station in Tianjin, China. In his agreement last week with President Barack Obama, Chinese President Xi Jinping committed to cap carbon emissions by 2030 and turn to renewable sources for 20 percent of the country’s energy. Nuclear Desalination

(Updated August 2015)
  • Potable water is in short supply in many parts of the world. Lack of it is set to become a constraint on development in some areas.
  • Nuclear energy is already being used for desalination, and has the potential for much greater use.
  • Nuclear desalination is generally very cost-competitive with using fossil fuels. "Only nuclear reactors are capable of delivering the copious quantities of energy required for large-scale desalination projects" in the future (IAEA 2015).
http://www.world-nuclear.org/info/Non-Power-Nuclear-Applications/Industry/Nuclear-Desalination/

.....In March 2013 the National Development and Reform Commission announced new plans for seawater desalination, including for the cities of Shenzhen and Zhoushan, Luxixiang Island in Zhejiang Province, Binhai New Area in Tianjin, Bohai New Area in Hebei, and several industrial parks and companies. The cost is likely to be some CNY 21 billion ($3.35 billion). China aims to produce 2.2 million m3/day of desal water by 2015, more than three times the 2011 level. More than half of the freshwater channelled to islands and more than 15% of water delivered to coastal factories will come from the sea by 2015, according to the plan.

So what do we know?  We know that the purported explosion too place in Tianjin China, in the Binhai New Area.  We know that the videos show what looks like a nuclear blast.  We now know that there are several Nuclear powered plants in the Binhai New Area of Tianjin China.  We have seen the pictures of devastation from the explosion....

What do we know?  What do we suspect?   I know what I strongly suspect...

‘Is this a nuclear bomb?’: drone captures apocalyptic scenes in Tianjin, China, after industrial explosions

PUBLISHED : Thursday, 13 August, 2015, 12:02pm

Taking on the look of a war zone or apocalyptic film, the gutted remains of an industrial area in Tianjin, China. Photo: Beijing Youth Daily

In the aftermath of deadly explosions at a chemicals warehouse, parts of Tianjin city in China looked like scenes from an apocalyptic film or a war zone, with destroyed buildings and homes, torched cars and pillars of thick smoke.
Testament to the devastation, eyewitnesses compared the strength of the blasts to military bombs. “Our building is shaking. Is this an atomic bomb?” a frenzied voice is heard saying in amateur footage posted on YouTube from what appeared to be an apartment building some distance away from the Binhai New Area, the epicentre.
The clip showed fire shooting into the night sky from the initial blast when the second, much bigger, explosion rocked the area, sending a huge fireball into the air. Seconds later, the apartment building is seen violently shaking.
In another amateur video which appears to be shot closer to the scene, people scream from inside a car as the shockwave hits from the second blast, rocking their vehicle.
A photographer from the Beijing Youth Daily captured the chilling aftermath at ground zero, with a cluster of industrial buildings in Binhai reduced to ashes and piles of smoking debris. The blasts were powerful enough to crumple shipping containers and flatten nearby warehouses into twisted pieces of sheet metal.
Shell-shocked residents posted photos of their homes, with unhinged doors and collapsed ceilings.

Mandela Effect Just jumped to a New Level!!

Well folks, this whole "Mandela Effect" shit just jumped to a WHOLE new Level!!

If youve been watching the One Peoples Roundtable Discussion on Monday nights, then you know Lisa harrison and I have been discussing the  so called "Mandela Effect" for months now.   And over the past month or so, there was a decidedly new level seen in this mess, as we talked about on this weeks show- with us now seeing very blatant changes in modern history.

Specifically, the Iraq War in 2003-07.   In a completely different conversation in the UnFuckers facebook group, someone brought up that Mongolia had fought in the Iraqi war....  and I said "No fuckin way".   So I went to check and sure enough, according to our "new" history/timeline/matrix fuckupery, yes, Mongolia actually sent troops to fight in Iraq in 2004!!   Im not going to get into the whole discussion from Monday night about Mongolia itself, but rest assured we have a VERY different view of Mongolia from what is being now portrayed in the Media/news now-  please listen to the show for more on that, HERE.

But I went looking for the lists of coalition forces that supposedly were in Iraq during the war.... and I just about fell off my chair!
Picture
If there is one topic that I have read quite a bit about over the past 5 years or so, its the Iraq War- being the backdrop to the purported "IQD RV" , so when I saw this list I knew immediately that there was no way that: Mongolia, El Salvador, Tonga, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, South Korea, Fiji, Iceland AND Japan had forces IN Iraq during the Iraq War!   The other countries listed you might be able to kinda sorta maybe see as having participated.... but not these countries.

Japan.... Ive been reporting on Japans Defense Forces and the HUGE change to Japanese Law that Abe pushed through their government, on Transpicuous News several times this year alone.  Japans military is ONLY Defensive, and has been ONLY defensive since WWII.  When Abe pushed through a new law- this spring 2015- that would allow the Japanese Defense Forces to act OFFENSIVELY, and to LEAVE their country to support their purported "Allies", the Japanese people had a serious freak out.  One man even lit himself on fire in a public square, and immolated himself as a show of outrage against this new law.  When this was going on I did several house of research into this law, and into the background on the Japanese Defense Forces.... so I know for a FACT that they were NOT in Iraq in 2004.

With this information, on this area of change, it showed a definite jump in level of what sort of Mandela effects were seeing.

Then today in the UnFuckers group, someone dropped a bomb that nearly knocked me over.  Not just in the bare HUGENESS of this change, but what this change signifies.

Just about every child who was raised in a christian household knows the Lords Prayer.  Lets face it, even non-christians know the Lords Prayer.   You know it, right?  Can you recite it right now, in your head?

What if I were to tell you that its now changed?

Peace Piece Whats in a word

Lisa fell down a rabbit hole of Etymology yesterday, and it definitely spiked my interest.  If there is one thing that weve learned through this journey, its that many words that we use regularly, dont mean what we think they mean.  The journey of discovery starts with the language we speak and read, and fully comprehending the actual definitions of words gives us a huge insight into the world around us, and the agendas that are being perpetuated.

The word we are looking at today is:

Peace

Lisa brought it up, and I asked two of the most word savvy people I know - Arthur and Gary-  to dig in and give me their perspectives.

Here is Lisas original message to me:

ok, so with the POPE and AGENDA 30 making references to PEACE i felt that looking at the etymology of the word was in order. Follow the links to connected words to get the full picture.

the better word is safe

safe (adj.) Look up safe at Dictionary.com

c. 1300, "unscathed, unhurt, uninjured; free from danger or molestation, in safety, secure; saved spiritually, redeemed, not damned;" from Old French sauf "protected, watched-over; assured of salvation," from Latin salvus "uninjured, in good health, safe," related to salus "good health," saluber "healthful," all from PIE solwos from root sol- "whole" (cognates: Latin solidus "solid," Sanskrit sarvah "uninjured, intact, whole," Avestan haurva- "uninjured, intact," Old Persian haruva-, Greek holos "whole").

As a quasi-preposition from c. 1300, on model of French and Latin cognates. From late 14c. as "rescued, delivered; protected; left alive, unkilled." Meaning "not exposed to danger" (of places) is attested from late 14c.; of actions, etc., "free from risk," first recorded 1580s. Meaning "sure, reliable, not a danger" is from c. 1600. Sense of "conservative, cautious" is from 1823. Paired alliteratively with sound (adj.) from late 14c. The noun safe-conduct (late 13c.) is from Old French sauf-conduit (13c.).
this is why the department of public safety is also the department of corrections
correct the records as you are assured of being safe

Gary:

Peace and its phonetic synonuym piece are most definitely spell words. From this 1s perspective they highlight collective ignorance about the facts of micro and macro, self vs public in relationship to man-made ideas, concepts, perspectives, and language vs nature. For peace to be possible require the first existence of a waring divided-condition or one which is in pieces.
